A England Lady Of The Lake With A Hint Of Spring

A England Lady of the Lake - two coats with top coat

Although we are still in the middle of winter, the weather has been quite warm and lovely lately, so I decided to do a simple dotted flower mani. I used A England Lady of the Lake as the base, a gorgeous dark purple scattered holo that applies dreamily. Check out that prismatic glow!

I then added a few dots using my dotting tool to finish the look, what do you think?

A Very Special Post: Green for Lyme Disease Awareness Month

A-England Dragon
Hello my dear readers! Today I am dedicating this post to a special polish friend who suffers from Lyme Disease (to read more about the disease, click here). Green is the color chosen to educate the community about Lyme Disease, so I have done a green mani using A-England Dragon and a little bit of stamping.

Dragon is described as an iridescent mossy green by A-England, and I cannot describe it better myself. Its darkish scattered holo effect gives a lovely yet mysterious glow to Dragon, and although green is not my favorite shade when it comes to polish, I love love love Dragon!

What I used for my stamping mani:

Base: A-England Dragon
Stamped with: Kleancolor Metallic Mango
Stamping Design: Fauxnad Cheetah print

A-England The Legends!

The Legends is the new collection by A-England, and here I have Ascalon and Princess Sebra for you!

A-England Ascalon, two coats with top coat
Ascalon - a gun metal grey with a subtle holo effect. The formula is awesome, and it is almost a one coater.

Princess Sebra - a greenish gold with a scattered holo effect. This is such a complex and unique polish, I don't think I have ever seen any holos like it!

As always Adina has done a great job with her polishes, I strongly recommend A-England if you haven't tried it already!

If only Princess Tears are this beautiful...

Couple months ago I won first prize from a giveaway, and the lovely Michaela (check out her nail blog here!) let me select a few polishes of my choice as the prize. Since I have my eyes on the new The Legends collection from A-England, I picked Princess Tears, Dragon, Princess Sabra and Ascalon, and here is Princess Tears today!

A-England Princess Tears - two coats with top coat

I fell in love with Princess Tears straight away when I saw the swatches, and it certainly does not disappoint in person! It is a silver lilac scattered holo with a semi-frost finish, quite unique and I don't have any polish that is similar at all. Although the prismatic effect is subtle, it is still very pretty as lights bounce off the holographic particles.

Princess Tears is a perfect two coater, and I might try it for stamping in the future as it is already quite opaque at one coat. After wearing Princess Tears for a day, I wanted to add a little something to my mani, so I added a simple French tip using A-England Ascalon (which will be swatched on its own soon). Do you like the final result? Or should I have left my original mani alone?

One of my favorites: A-England Tristam

A-England Tristam - two coats with no top coat
A-England Tristam is easily one of my favorite polishes of all times. It is a gorgeous dark blue scattered holo that sparkles like stars do at night. Tristam is like a sophisticated, classy lady who shines amongst the crowd. It really is divine!

Formula is great too, making the application effortless. The finish of Tristam is so glossy you could get away without a topcoat if you wish.

If you have not got Tristam yet, do yourself a favor and get it asap! A-England polishes can be purchased on on A-England's website, or from Llarowe.

Nail Polish Review: A England Galahad

Hello ladies! I have a special post for you today, as I am doing my very first review on A England Galahad!

A England Galahad - two coats with base and top coats

Galahad is part of The Mythicals collection from A England, and is described as a 'mystic vibrant blue green' creme polish. This description is very apt, as Galahad is an exuberant aqua blue with a strong green/teal base. It is such a unique shade, and I love the complexity and depth of this polish!

Here Galahad shows more green

The formula of Galahad is also a pleasure to work with. A tiny bit on the thick side, but application is still a breeze, and you could get away with one thick coat if you wish (here I did two coats for photo purpose). No clean-up is required because the brush picks up just the right amount of polish, and it is easy to control.

So vibrant yet sophisticated!

I wanted to add a little extra to show off this gorgeous polish, so I simply added a clear rhinestone to my middle finger.  I really like this design as it accentuates the beautiful Galahad, to the point that I can't stop looking at my nails all day!

Do you like Galahad as much as I do? Do you own any A England polish? If you have not heard about this brand before, you can visit the website: http://www.a-england.co.uk/ to find out more. A England polishes are free from all harmful toxins, and are completely cruelty-free as well. A England also offers FREE SHIPPING to anywhere in the world, so make sure to pay them a visit online today!

A lemming killed - A England Lady Of The Lake

A England Lady Of The Lake - 2 coats with top coat
I admit, I am a sucker for all things purple and holo when it comes to polish, so of course Lady Of The Lake from A England became one of my biggest lemmings when I saw it.

I received LotL via a MUA swap, and could not wait to try it on! This is my first time trying A England, but I have heard many good things about this brand amongst nail bloggers, and I am not disappointed.

The holo is not showing up in my swatch, but I promise you it is there!
A dark, classy purple loaded with silver shimmer and tiny holographic particles, you could see the prismatic effect under bright light, even if it is very subtle. Nevertheless, LotL is gorgeous polish and I think it compliments my skin tone well. The wear time is very long lasting too; I have been wearing LotL for three days with no chip wear or tip wear (keep in mind I am pretty rough with my hands), and the application was a breeze with two easy coats.

I would definitely be getting more A England in the near future (Tristam is another huge lemming of mine), especially with the free international shipping now being offered from A England's website!
