Zoya Storm

Zoya Storm, two coats with no top coat

Zoya Storm, from the Ornate Collection 2012, is a scattered holo black. It is so sparkly it is almost blinding! When under dim light, the holographic particles appear as silver flecks, and is pretty in its own way.

Formula is pretty much flawless, two easy coats with no top coat shown in my swatches. To spice things up, I add some dots with Zoya Aurora and Zoya Blaze on the accent nail.

I love how the above picture captures the colorful shine of my mani!

Enchanted Polish: Dance of the Sugar Plum and Bruised Nutcracker

Today I bring you two polishes from the Enchanted Polish Ho Ho Holiday collection: Dance of the Sugar Plum and Bruised Nutcracker.

Enchanted Polish Dance of the Sugar Plum - two coats with no top coat

Dance of the Sugar Plum, a dark plum purple linear holo that applies like butter. In fact both polishes could almost be a one coater, awesome! The holo is so strong that you can still see traces of rainbow in dim light, how amazing is that?

Enchanted Polish Bruised Nutcracker - two coats with no top coat

There is always a place for a good blue holo, and Bruised Nutcracker is definitely one of the best out there. A smokey, dark blue linear holo, Bruised Nutcracker reminds me a lot of the much coveted OPI DS Glamour!

Which polish do you like me? I simply love them both! Chelsea certainly knows how to make a good holo!

Lynnderella Gotta Love Brains

Lynnderella Gotta Love Brains - two coats over OPI My Pointe Exactly (two coats), with top coat

Sometimes you come across a truly special polish that makes you go WOW, and Lynnderella Gotta Love Brains is definitely one of those. Large white hexes, holographic silver bar glitters, and pastel pink, blue, purple and silver small glitters suspended in a light sheer grey jelly, Gotta Love Brains is so soft and delicate looking, it makes you want to stare at your nails all day.

Application requires some fishing and dabbing of the glitters, but it is a small price to pay for such a gorgeous polish. Since it is very sheer on its own, I layered two coats over OPI My Pointe Exactly, which turns out to be the perfect undie for Gotta Love Brains!

Gotta Love Brains is one of the older Lynns (pre eBay days), and is it just me, or are the old Lynns better than the new ones? I can't help but think that some of the new Lynns are very similar to her old ones, and some are just a mixture of glitters put together without much thought or creativity. I hope I don't get burnt by the Lynn lovers out there, I am merely sharing what I think with you girls!

Chinese New Year Mani: Picture Polish Monroe and SOPI 18K Top Coat

One coat of SOPI 18K top coat over two coats of Picture Polish Monroe

Happy Chinese New Year everyone! Red and gold have always been the lucky colors for this Chinese tradition, so here is a simple yet festive mani to celebrate CNY! One coat of Sephora by OPI 18K real gold top coat over Picture Polish Monroe, I hope this mani would bring me good luck for the year of Snake!

Picture Polish Monroe , two coats

On its lonesome, Picture Polish Monroe (this is the original version) is a blood red jelly with subtle holo shining through. It is such a vampy and gorgeous polish, it definitely makes you feel very sexy (hence Monroe) and womanly wearing it! I only wish the holo is a bit stronger, because let's face it, who doesn't like holo?

Zoya Blaze

Zoya Blaze, two coats with no top coat

Talk about taken by surprise! I have never expected Zoya Blaze (from the Ornate Collection 2012) to be this gorgeous, but I am totally blown away by its beauty! A dark red jelly with scattered holo, the prismatic effect shines through and sparkles like stars in the night sky.

Formula is perfect, an easy two coats, no streaks whatsoever. I can't wait to try the other two holos from the same collection, Aurora and Storm, so stay tuned!
