Nail Stamping: Checkered Birds

I finally got around to buying a Konad stamper (I was using all kinds of stampers from other brands before), and what a huge difference does it make! I no longer feel like I am pulling my hair out because Konad stamper makes stamping so easy! I will definitely be stamping a lot more from now on!

Plate: Fauxnad
Base: Ups Color Azul Disco - a light blue scattered holo
Stamping polish: Wet n Wild black creme

Cult Nails Toxic Seaweed

Cult Nails Toxic Seaweed - one coat over WnW black creme

Another limited edition from Cult Nails, another winner polish in my eyes! Toxic Seaweed is part of the latest Cult Nails collection - Let's Get Nakkid, a dark green jelly loaded with micro green and silver glitters and color shifting copper flakies. I layered one coat of Toxic Seaweed over Wet n Wild black creme, and the result is just breathtaking! This polish has so much depth I could stare at my nails all day long, the glitters, the sparkles, the bling bling, I am in love!

A super closeup of Toxic Seaweed! All I can say is AWESOMESAUCE!

A-England The Legends!

The Legends is the new collection by A-England, and here I have Ascalon and Princess Sebra for you!

A-England Ascalon, two coats with top coat
Ascalon - a gun metal grey with a subtle holo effect. The formula is awesome, and it is almost a one coater.

Princess Sebra - a greenish gold with a scattered holo effect. This is such a complex and unique polish, I don't think I have ever seen any holos like it!

As always Adina has done a great job with her polishes, I strongly recommend A-England if you haven't tried it already!

Nail Art: Funky Cloud Tips

Just a quick post today on another cloud tip mani I did.

Cloud Tip Design using China Glaze Traffic Jam and Nature Republic SBL031

Since I am getting some tipwear with China Glaze Traffic Jam, I covered the tips with cloud design using Nature Republic SBL031. I was going to add another color to the cloud, but decided against it because I think it looks pretty good already!

Cloud tip design has quickly become my go-to mani. It is so easy to do but looks oh-so-cute. Do you like it as much as I do? :)

Nail Art: Fluffy Cloud!

I have been lacking motivation to blog lately; perhaps it is due to the lack of comments, or loss of followers, or just pure laziness. Or it is a little bit of everything. So to make up for it, I am showing you an awesome mani today!

I first saw the freehand cloud design on Nailside (she comes up with the most awesome freehand mani designs, so check out her blog if you haven't done so already!), and immediately fell in love with it! After several attempts, I finally came up with a half-decent mani of my own.

Since Nailside's cloud tutorial is very thorough already, I won't go into the details. I have one handy tip for you though: to create the round-end 'cloud' tip, leave the brush on for a few seconds to form a pool of polish. Also I find it easier to draw the cloud with a narrower brush, i.e. Zoya!

Polishes used for above mani:

Base - Zoya Kelly
Bigger Cloud Tip - Zoya Moxie
Smaller Cloud Tip - Zoya Caitlin
