Ozotic 531

Ozotic #531 - two coats with no top coat

#531 is from the Ozotic Mish Mash Collection released last year. It is a copper brown multichrome that flashes shades of pink, lavender and green at various lights, and it is also a strong linear holo! It reminds me of Kinder Chocolate egg, where you get all the goodies in just one egg! :)

Formula is a bit on the sheer side, but after three coats #531 becomes opaque. It is such a unique polish because of its unusual color and complexity, it is a must have for all your holo/duochrome lovers out there!

A possible Peridot dupe? Missha HGR01

Missha HGR01 - two coats with no top coat

Missha HGR01 is one of the goodies I brought back from Seoul. It is a green, teal and gold multichrome with a frosty metallic finish. Now although I do not own the famed Chanel Peridot, I believe HGR01 could possibly be a close dupe, where Peridot leans more towards the green/gold shift, and the latter shows more of a teal flash.

Formula of HGR01 is good, and you can get away with one coat with careful application. I have later tried to use it for stamping, and the result is quite pleasing! One thing to note though, the brush of all Missha polishes is extraordinary wide, even wider than the OPI pro-wide brush!

I am going to leave you with a few swatch photos to drool over, and until next time, take care my readers!

The Holo Chameleon - Ozotic Pro 532

Hi girls! Today I have for you Ozotic Pro 532, a polish I got via a swap with Chili. I have been lusting after this one since it has been released a couple months ago, so I tried it on immediately after receiving it!

Ozotics Pro 532 - two coats over black creme

532 is part of the Ozotic Pro Mish Mash Collection, which features polishes that are both holo AND duochrome! How awesome is that combo!

It is difficult to exactly describe what 532 is, because it shifts color from dark purple, to blue, green, and sometimes charcoal. What remains a constant however, is the strong linear holo effect that pops up under bright lights. Application is easy breezy, and since 532 is quite sheer, here I have layered two coats of 532 over black creme.

I absolutely adore the prismatic effect of 532, and I couldn't help but stare at my nails all day, trying to figure out what colors I could see. Here I will leave you with more swatches of 532, perhaps you could pick out shades that I can't?

A Duo Beauty: Chemistry #521

Chemistry #521 - two coats with top coat

Today I have for you another polish I brought back from Australia, Chemistry #521. #521 is a grape purple base duochrome, which shifts from purple to burgundy / pinkish red / copper depending on the lighting.

This is almost a completely different shade to the base color!
Although I am usually not a fan of duochrome, #521 is gorgeous because it has tiny pink and purple shimmers that dance on your nails. I also have a lot of fun moving my hands all over the place, trying to see if I can discover more "hidden" colors!  I love the Chemistry polish formula too, two easy coats with minimal cleanup required.

I really don't have much else to say, so I will leave you with more swatches of this color shifting beauty!
