Skull & Glossbones is from the OPI Pirates of the Caribbean Collection released this year. It is a light grey polish with a hint of green undertone to it, I must say I don’t have any shade similar to this and quite like it!
Unlike Mermaid’s Tears that is streaky and stains my nail, the formula of S&G is much better. I get full opacity with two coats. It also has a very glossy finish, so I don’t even need a shiny top coat to achieve the manicure above!
I am curious as to how well the silver shatter (again, from the same collection) will go with S&G, so I put it on after my manicure is fully dried. I think the silver shatter complements S&G quite well; it brings a subtle edginess to the otherwise soft looking polish.
Since the silver shatter dries matte, I applied a coat of CND top coat to finish the manicure off.
